SAYING GOODBYE TO KOREA

Our time in Korea has come to an end. This country has given us so many memories and friendships that leaving feels like I'm leaving a part of myself behind. Three months in Busan was never going to be enough – Korea has a way of getting under your skin.

I remember our first week here, overwhelmed by the alphabet, confused by the metro system, and amazed by how kind strangers were to us. Even when we couldn't communicate, there was always a smile, always an attempt to help. The ahjummas at the local markets learned our favorite foods and would set them aside before we even asked.

The temples of Gyeongju, the beaches of Busan, the nightlife of Seoul, the BBQ that sizzled on every corner – Korea surprised us at every turn. We made friends who invited us into their homes, shared soju with us until dawn, and taught us that the concept of "nunchi" – reading the room – is an art form itself.

And so we say goodbye, not forever, but for now. Korea, cham sum nida – thank you. Until we meet again.
