They say Paris is always a good idea, and after spending a magical autumn week along the Seine, I couldn't agree more. The city draped in golden fall foliage against Haussmann architecture and crisp blue skies created scenes straight from a vintage postcard.
Mornings began with café au lait and fresh croissants at a tiny boulevard café, watching Paris come alive one boutique at a time. The Marais district captivated me with its medieval streets, independent bookshops, and the most exquisite people-watching terraces. Every arrondissement revealed a new favorite corner.
The Louvre required an entire day – and still, I barely scratched the surface. But wandering through the Tuileries Gardens afterward, with thesetting sun painting the pyramid in shades of amber, reminded me why some places are called magical. And of course, climbing the Eiffel Tower at dusk, watching the City of Light gradually illuminate below, was absolutely worth every step.
Paris taught me to slow down, to savor, to appreciate beauty in everyday moments. It's a city that stays with you long after you leave, whispering promises of return.
